Farmers taking their animals to sanctuaries

This one in the guardian looks at the psychology that drives the change of heart.

I think may be an explosion of interest as more and more high street charities will become associated with animal sanctuaries rather than to the abbatior.

I don't think, as yet, the number of farmers changing their income base away from raising animals for human consumption will be fast, but it feels inevitable. After all the big meat companies are investing in plant food companies. They do not intend to be caught out as society changes. Beyond Meat has filed for an IPO at $100m, with a reported increase in revenue of 167% in just one year. So more investments will be made with that filing comes to fruition, and again I guess the big meat companies will be in the front line for buying stocks.
