Environment friendly/Vegan friendly shampoo

Following on from Kitten-whiskers poll the other day about concerns with what's in our cleaning/beauty products it made me think more.

I had a look round Holland & Barrett today at the alternatives and gasped at the prices, not for my pocket I'm afraid. I wanted some children's shampoo that I've been using, it's a fairly small tube and I pack it in my rucksack for when I get off my bike and have a shower in work. I couldn't find it but pleased I couldn't as I stumbled on to this little beauty. I was told by the assistant that they do other Vegan friendly products. This was definitely affordable at £4.99.

That’s a lovely thing to say Alicia and I’m so pleased you have stuck with it. I’m going to look out for this shampoo. I was in Glastonbury yesterday and I bought a shampoo bar from the amazing health food shop there so I will report back on how I get on with that. 🙂

You are welcome have been so helpful on my journey to Veganism. I do love Superdrug and I know they have been against testing on animals for a long time but was surprised to see they are selling Vegan products - result.

Thats a really good price. I stopped shopping at Holland and Barret they are far to expensive, im glad you got this at superdrug.

Agree, Holland & Barrett are very expensive. The powers that be don't help with the environment by charging so much for decent products. Well done Superdrug. 😀
