Hi everyone,

This was in the Independent and its an incredible prediction and however over optimistic it shows the never end shift towards all things plant based.

I've said this before and its as if societies are waking up to the failings of the fast foood industry and the ever deteriorating health of wealthy societies due to obesity high blood pressure to much salt and sugar not enough exercise and not enough time...

Well now it is time and people are thinking enough is enough and for some reason one big answer to many is plant based.

Most you will think the first paragraph sounds like a dream...so you'll have to read it now LOL

It's amazing news - and I'm starting to think it could become true or almost true. As people eat less meat it becomes less economic for everyone in he food chain from farmers to restaurants to produce it and serve it, which will drive down demand even further.

Thanks for posting this, it's brightened my evening :)

I really do hope this does come true. Its so arrogant of humans to think animals were put here for them to eat. I think it would also then have a knock on effect on other issues making for a more peaceful world etc.

I went to a restaurant in Italy yesterday and the man was very helpful but had nothing vegan. He was so apologetic and said this is something I really need to start looking into doing. πŸ‘πŸŒ±
