In my efforts to eat more seeds, today I made Sunflower seed milk π₯ instead of the usual almond or cashew milk.
I put 1 cup of toasted seeds
1 pint of filtered water
1 medjool date
Blitzed it all together and thatβs it. It was not as white as other milks (although not quite as dark as it looks in the photo) but it was very nice with a Nutty taste. Great for anything from adding to breakfast cereals/porridge or to a sauce. For sauces I would add a pinch of salt and omit the date. Depending on your blender you may need to sieve or put through a nut bag but I didnβt.
