The filling is about 7 dates blitzed with water to make a paste (you could add a mashed banana to the date mix if you wanted to have more filling) which I put on to the nuts.
Then I sliced 1 banana and put it on top of the dates.
The cream is coconut cream which I added vanilla to and sieved cacao on top.
This is great made the day before, in fact I think it is probably better if you do.
I made it in a 8β round cake tin and it serves 8 π

Good morning Ali, blimey this looks sensational and healthy, which's a magic combination so I'm very impressed.
Now would you like any new Topic sections for your recipes? I've already added 'Butter and cheese' so please just say if you have any preferences.
That sounds good Jerry. I am going to start looking at seed recipes as I am going to move away from nuts and start using more seeds. I eat so many nuts I wonder if I could become allergic to them. So maybe seeds might be an idea. I tried to add things under the correct topic but didnβt think it workedπ Maybe that was just me doing something wrong. I hope you enjoyed the bank holiday weekend. π Ali
Thanks Ali, I've added seed recipes, I've changed the recipe topics so they're all together.
All you have to do to put things in the topic you want is to click the topic button and then click the appropriate one.
To edit a previous post you click edit and 'Topic' is under the photo and you can add or change the topic.
I'll happily do it but it means the post will say last edited by me so I always ask first.
I had a great weekend thanks as the weather was amazing and I go out of Bristol into the countryside on my bike when the weathers nice but I still had time for a bit of baking.
And I hope that you enjoyed it too as it looks like you're celebrating with this amazing Banoffee pie...π
