Finding good VAsculitis Consultant

Hi I am hoping to move to Teignmouth, Torquay or Newton Abbot in Devon. I have TAK/GCA and am looking for a good consultant who has experience of Vasculitis within and hour and a half travel distance maximum from these areas. Can any one recommend anyone? Thank you.

Hi there, we live on the Devon/Cornwall border and my husband who has WG, goes to a Rheumy, Dr.Lindsay Robertson at Derriford. She's just started him on Cyclo and seems to know what she's talking about but openly admits she's not an expert but is happy to pull advice from Addenbrookes. Her register actually lists Vasculitis.

Hi, The Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital has a Vasculitis Unit under Dr. Lucy Smyth. I have WG and have had excellent care under the Renal unit as the WG attacked my kidneys. There are various Drs. there that treat Vasculitis. I am sure your own Dr. would be able to give you more information. By the way, Teignmouth is a lovely place to live. We have a good Westcountry support group that meets for lunch every three months or so.
