On 29th June this year an ever growing band of intrepid walkers will set off to complete 31 mile walk in support of Vasculitis UK. The walk is known as the Worcestershire Walk.
Over the next few months we will introduce you to the team. We will also take the opportunity to introduce you to the beautiful city of Worcester and the county which takes its name from this cathedral city.
We all know that Worcester is a county town located south of Birmingham but did you know it was where Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army known as Roundheads defeated King Charles II's Cavaliers, ushering in the Commonwealth of England during which England and Wales became a republic.
If you live near Worcester perhaps you would consider joining the walkers. If walking is not your thing just mark it in the diary to cheer the team on.
