So, for some reason, when my oxygen level is checked on my finger, it reads very low...in the 80's. When it is read on my forehead, it reads much higher- in the high 90's.
This has only been the case just recently. I'm wondering if it's from the vasculitis or??

Is this with a pulse oximeter? The clip thing they put on your finger? They are notoriously inaccurate as they have several limitations. Poor circulation is just one thing that will lead to a low reading - do you also suffer from Raynaud's with your vasculitis? It is also something that may happen with vasculitis I believe but I am not an expert.
I also have my readings done several times and its always on low side no one seems to take much notice they always say it's ok fir me what ever that means.
Yes, it is the pulse oximeter. I guess I was concerned with the low reading because it had always been accurate even with Raynauds. I'm just trying to stay on top of my symptoms especially when they are new. I have another appointment soon. I'll address it then. I like to go to my appointments with as much info as possible so that nothing is dismissed or overlooked. Thanks for your reply!🙂
