I was back and two the doctors for a good few months... with a very sore ear and what they thought where flat feet... I couldn't walk far because I had bad pain in the bottom of my feet... my ear was very sore . Like constant ear ache... I wasn't sent to have a single blood test....that was in 2007/08.... since then a hell of a lot has happened to me...new heart valve..two eye valves fitted .i couldn't go out in bright light . I had to wear dark glasses.. even watching the tv at night.....
No blood test till I was bad.: I was back and... - Vasculitis UK
No blood test till I was bad.
Are you taking any ACE Inhibitors such as Buttolol or Ramipril ? If so, it could be that you are amongst the very low percentage of patients that have a VERY hard time with these drugs, same as me. In my case dropping ACEs and switching to ARB (Angiotensin Receptor Blocker) cured the problem.
I am afraid recognition and diagnosis can be late. Vasculitis has the potential to mimic other less serious diseases. But GP's should pick up on recurring problems and should refer for further investigations . It is a problem which is being addressed.
Thanks for that reply.. I was working full time then.. my ear was very sore for months.. I could just about cope with that.. then my feet started to ache.. the soles .. I could barely walk about 10 steps.. it was awful... I went back and too the doctors.. he put me on the sick...I was of for a good few weeks .. they all thought I was having them on.. I felt bad...went back in work with another sick note... found out the works had gone bankrupt..
