Hi there,
I have had a sore throat for about 7 months, kidney pain, swollen calves and pain in my left side under my ribs and pain going down my left lag causing numbness in my foot. They have been doing certain tests for vasculitis, but nothing concrete has come out of it yet. I also have scleritis in my eyes. Does anyone else have similar symptoms, or have any advice on what to say to go, as they just ignore what I am saying. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Sorry to hear that you have been unwell. I have copied the link to the Vasculitis UK helpline so please do phone or e mail and John or myself should be able to give you some advice.
Vasculitis is a rare and complex illness and diagnosis can be challenging, especially as there are over 14 variants. It's best to be seen by a Consultant with experience in treating many cases of Vasculitis, there are multi disciplinary Vasculitis clinics up and down the UK. We should be able to advise you on the nearest appropriately experienced Consultant.

Have you contacted 'Vasculitis UK', our Sister organisation? It is run (and was founded) by Susan & John Mills-the same people who founded this 'forum'. You will find them both very helpful and, extremely knowledgeable. 'Email' them at jandsmills@btinternet.com.
How far are you from Cambridge? It's just that Dr David Jane, the country's (worlds) leading expert, on all 'things Auto-immune/Vasculitis' is based there. He is also an advisor, to Vasculitis UK, as a matter of fact/point of reference.
