Burn

Hi I have vasculitis HSP and today I burn my hand and I'm worry that my rash will get worse! Can anyone tell me if I should go to the doctor cause of this burn! Would it affect my vasculitis ?

Dear Mellyyy012,

Forget that you have vasculitis and whether, or not, your accident may, or may not, make anything worse AND GET TO THE DOCTORS NOW!!! You have burned your hand, for Heaven's sake! I'm really tempted to say, something like-'Why the f..k are you waiting for', but this might appear a tad rude-so I'll just say 'Please get yourself around to the Docs, you silly man'. No really do get 'checked out' sooner, rather than later.

Naturally you should, and I'm quite sure will, tell the doctor your history and this, may very well, change/influence how he treats you-once you tell him about your burn, that is! Sorry to 'bang on' a bit but, you burned yourself! It doesn't matter how you burned your hand, no really it doesn't. I can assure you, one hundred per cent, that if you have done no real damage and that I was being an 'old worry box' I won't mind at all. In fact, if this proves to be the case, I will be delighted-really I will.

It only remains for me to send you my very best wishes and, to ask you, to let me know what your doctor says-please?
