July 23 ,2017. I'm new here, male, age 84. Past diagnoses and treatments include Thyroid cancer and complete Thyroidectomy, Ocular Melanoma treated with Plaque Radiation, no further issues with cancer so far; Orthostatic Hypotension from Pure Autonomic Failure, Pace Maker to stabilize heart rate and minimum blood pressure, taking Midodrine, and now Droxidopa but looking for a more effective treatment to stabilize standing blood pressure around 120/80 or so; Arthritis/pain in back but still able to walk limited distances. I've completed two clinical trials and am glad to discuss any relevant topics.

Hi Davetaylorjr

It sounds like you are a very strong individual!

If you don't mind my asking, which clinical trials did you participate in and did you find that participating in them met your expectations if Any?
