My transplant was about 3.5 years ago, my brother was the live donor (pretty good match).I have started producing a large crop of BCC's and increasingly SCC's. My neph. Is thinking about taking me off Tacrolimus and putting me on MTORi instead.
Is anybody on this stuff or know much about it?

Hi - I would suggest researching the anti-rejection drug, sirolimus. I’ve read studies that it has shown to decrease skin cancer occurrence. I take it with low dose pred and belatacept. I think some take just the sirolimus though. I don’t know about differences between tac and myfortic
I take both Sirolimus and Tacrolimus, low dose. I was taken off Myfortic due to increased risk of SCC. Sirolimus inhibits MTOR considering anti-tumor growth. I’ve been taking Sirolimus since February of 2022.
