I have very thin skin which is causing a lot of problems I bruise very easy especially on legs is there anyone who could tell me if there is anything I can do especially the legs as I am getting paranoid about anyone touching them
I have been told by the doctors it is because of the tablets I have been taking for the transplant over the years
I’m hoping someone out there will be able to help
Thank you June

I’ve had mine 23 years & exactly the same. Also 40years of being on steroids . My legs are awful . Also now having lots of skin things removed caused from all the meds over the years.
Sadly I have the same problem but have only been on prednisolone for a couple of years. Can your Consultant change your meds? I also get bad bruising on my arms and hands very worrying as I have diabetes.
In fact it was the transplant doctor who apologised for not picking it earlier and that was all I have heard about it except my doctor said no it wasn’t that but gave me predisolone
I managed to cut it down to 7-5 and that is where I have stayed
I am thinking of trying to cut down but as I said before I believe I have given up
Thanks for letting me moan be a bettter day tomorrow
I feel like when you get to a certain age they give up on you
I do sometimes feel the same since I am 69 but getting very stressed about sepsis when the skin tears which it does on my ankles. Has the lowering to 7.5 helped as I am on 10mg?
