Can I work in my job?

I am a 19 year old girl who had a kidney transplant exactly 2 years ago. I have just recentlly got a job in a hospital being a hostess, giving out tea, coffee, water and evening meals to patients. With there being a lot of infections around the hospital I’m not sure whether this is the right job for me with being on immunosuppressant and my immune system being low. Can anyone give me there thoughts on what I should and would any of you work here??

Look it depends how close you come with the people there! If you are in a coffee shop maybe is not such a risk! Ask your doctors opinion! I have also a 19 year old girl 5 months post kidney transplant and im thinking what she can do....

Hi I had a kidney/pancreas transplant 2.5yrs ago. I work in the care industry. I follow basic hygeine proceedings. I had a great two yrs health wise begining of this year I caught flu, and norvo virus , this could be a coincidence. But I've returned to work in the care industry and won't let my medication stop me doing it, I told my Dr what I do and he was fine with it. Sandra
