I’ve felt isolated trying to fight this alone. People don’t know what My body is feeling or going through. Anyone can support but not in a way that’s beneficial to me.

Why alone? What would be beneficial to you?
I’m the only person in my and in my school that has to deal with this
Yes, that is why I find this forum so good. It is made up of people who know what we are going through. I have made good friends on this site and get good support and advice from it. It is difficult for people that don't have kidney problems to understand just how it affects us. My doctor warned me after I was diagnosed that friends and work colleagues would soon suffer from "sympathy fatigue" and she was correct.
its common to feel down.when you had poor kidney function to worry about..maybe good idea to see a councilor to talk things over.. take care..regards chris
