Cryptospridium

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the stomach bug, cryptospiridium in transplant patients? My husband has it and has had diarrohea and vomiting for 4 weeks. Clinic don't seem overly worried but I am. He has lost a stone and a half and I have read this infection can be serious when taking immune suppressants.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I used to get an upset stomach from tap water and eggs. Generally I avoid these. I'd make up a tea from sliced fresh ginger. It's quite comforting and warming, especially in winter.
