Tinnitus tone!

You have my sympathy URM, But also, you have my thanks!
Do use any relaxation type background sounds or anything like that? Some people say it helps. If you google "relaxation sound" you'll find plenty. Do not pay money for any of it!!!!
I uploaded a few sounds on freesound.org, where you can download sound files free of charge. If you type in " my tinnitus sound " you'll find what I made using the, also free, " Audacity " software. audacityteam.org/ And if you check out my Hear-No-Elvis channel on Freesound, there are some possible background sounds I made for peeps to use. Plus my own replica of my tinnitus noise.
But! And I have to say it's it's a big but, After hearing that tone start at the same sort of volume as a piece of music on my PC's speakers, it fades and almost disappears! I never realised it, but perhaps my own tinnitus is doing that ! My T is, unfortunately multi-tone, and to be honest I've never really talked about it with my audiology peeps, but I will deffo be in touch with them next week.
Now I'm not saying your tinnitus sound will disappear if you listen to another sound, because I know mine never has, but there must be something going on. Because it's not like my own deafness changes when I hear that tone, as I can still when I snap my fingers right by my ear as usual.
Wishing yo the best.
Anyway, here's some great music I was just listening to
