Really good video thanks for sharing. I can relate after losing my mum suddenly while my husband was being treated for cancer. Think it's all stress related even though I'm in a much better place now.

Wow - I found that fascinating! The theory that extreme stress could play a role and essentially the brain stops filtering but we may be able to re train the brain to filter out noise again is really fascinating. He talks a lot about 'central tinnitus' - by 'central tinnitus' does he mean people who have hearing loss in the middle frequencies (ie the centre of an audiogram chart) or does he mean people who experience tinnitus as not being in the left or the right ear but the centre of their head?

Yes he did didn't he? I liked the comment that it works in the same way as the other therapies but is basically faster. I am seriously contemplating it, but it is expensive.

thank you for sharing that. I've come in here because I feel... unhelped after my ent appointment, but starting to hoist my socks up again to figure out how to go about my next... whatever I do. information I can use for retraining and finding people to help exists! there is not a hissing vacuum! hurrah! heh.
