PT Update

Waiting for an appointment to hopefully diagnose my PT in my right ear. This will be conducted by MRA scan. I think this is to have a look at the arteries in that area I presume.Has anyone had an MRA and how was the experience?

Have sudden loss of hearing in both ears with PT in my right which is constant throughout the day. A year has gone by to get to this stage.

Thanks

Ted

Update - MRI was done on the 18/12/24 and now waiting for results to come back.

Does anyone know how long it takes for results to get back to the GP?

I am in the Glasgow area. Thanks.

MRA took 10 days to get results. It appears to be standard to have one if T starts with hearing loss. I had it too. Sure they will come back fine. It’s just a horrible condition that we have to adapt too. Best wishes
