I would like to thank everyone for kind words and support they gave me the last few days. I had MRA this afternoon which was better than I thought. The one I had over a year ago was an old machine that was very loud . Today’s was a new machine much nicer not so closed in and not so noisy. I had my ears done and blood vessels in neck only took fifteen minutes. I feel so silly I made all that fuss so thank you again .
Love Barbara.

Hi Barbara ,, your fears were perfectly normal . I have just read a few of your messages and from what I can see you have been very encouraging to others. I think this is a lovely forum and it has certainly helped me with this awful debilitating ringing. I literally take one day at a time and after 8 operations on my ear, ever want to see a surgeon again! Take care, love Jenny 😊
Oh you are very welcome ... if I can offer any advice , don’t have any unnecessary operations ... I pushed for the Cochlear implant and it hasn’t really helped . I’m actually going through a tough time at the moment, but better days ahead ! It’s so nice to know we aren’t alone ! Look after yourself 😊😊
Thanks Barbara , a bump in the road. If you would like to message privately let me know, I promise I won’t whinge too much! Ha . We can message privately on this chat line . 😊
I agree with 1Dar, all perfectly normal. We are all on here for support when we need it and to give support when others need it. By sharing our experiences and our fears we all help each other. It is difficult on family & friends who dont suffer the same symptoms to understand exactly what its like but all of us on here do know, we get it! So pleased you had a better experience & fingers crossed for the results. Take care.
Hi Barbara, Sorry to trouble you but I was wondering how your PT is going. I have PT in my left ear only (9 months now). I can only hear it when it's very quiet and my head / neck in in certain positions. MRI's and ultrasounds have shown nothing. I'm convinced that it is coming from my neck or upper spine. I'll admit that my seated posture is shocking while I'm in front of a PC...this might be a factor. Rgds Ian
