had tinnitus for nearly 50 years. Last year or so I get a ringing noise if I nod or shake my head. Anyone else get this.

I get a whooshing noise when I move my head from side to side and can get worse so that it happens when I walk. Came on after 6 years of T.

I also get a whoosing noise when I move my head side to side, but only in my left ear, have never found out the reason for this.

I got an ENT appointment and had a cat scan to look at a cause but they were more concerned about my severe hearing loss in my left ear and told me that the scan showed no nasty causes for hearing loss. Thus they did not identify a cause and simply said I had pulsative tinnitus! 😣

I had a MRI scan a couple of years ago regarding my T which came back all clear !!

I've had T for over 50 years too. Its gotten louder over the years so I hear it all the time, but its generally constant, not pulsatile, no whooshing. My big breakthrough was learning to love it (or pretend to myself that I do, which may be as good), just because its been part of my life since age 17.
