Hi

Firstly have you seen a Dr, ENT etc etc to rule out any ear related problems, i.e. wax in your ears etc.

Please be reassured this is something many experience and it can go.

Avoid negative forums.

Seek out Julian Cowan Hill on You Tube, he also has an app 'Quieten' free months trial, he explains what Tinnitus is and what we can do to calm it down and how he got better, he helps hundreds of people. You can also email him, he has a website.

Many people will say there is nothing you can do and this is false information, even Drs and ENTs.

Do not despair, the more you learn about this temporary condition the more you will understand what can make it better for you.

as Seabob says.

If you search out information - and be careful, there’s a lot of misinformation out there - you will see cures. There is no”cure” as such but many ways to deal with this.

Just believe what you see posted on this forum by forumites and the website of Tinnitus UK, che charity, along with Julian Cowan Hill.

Unfortunately Tinnitus UK website is dismissive of some holistic practices just because they are not medically or scientifically proven even though they can help many people, JCH is an example of how CST helped him and many he has helped. Helping people calm their nervous system can help with T.

Hi - Tinnitus alone can make you stressed and stress can give you Tinnitus as it's a stress symptom from the body/nervous system...I get very stressed by it which can make Tinnitus worse...it's a vicious cycle but you can break it, Julian Cowan Hill explains all this - so when you understand it more it can help how you react to it, if you have a period of stress it can definitely lead to Tinnitus, so getting in a calm state or removing stress (not easy) can help you.
