Muzzy head and Tinnitus raised

Morning all.I have for the past few days what feels like cotton wool stuffed in my head and tinnitus is very loud.Paracetomol not touching it.Anyone have any ideas to help.Thankyou .

hello ETHEL. I had a quick look at your earlier posts in Thyroid and it is your first here in tinnitus, so welcome.

Paracetamol won’t have much effect on tinnitus unless your T is made worse by pain, which would be unusual I think.

If you have a read of the website Tinnitus UK you will get a feeling for what you might do to help it the noises in your head - though not the cotton wool feeling necessarily.

Remember there is no cure as such, just ways you can help yourself, sometimes with assistance of us here who know what it’s like, and maybe your own medical people.

Hi, sounds like a wuzzy brain fog with your tinnitus .I would check your BP also as that can cause brain fog with raised Tinnitus.

You could have a virus and stress could cause both too.

Hi - please look up Julian Cowan Hill on You Tube he also has a website and an app 'Quieten' - there is no medical proven cure but you can and people do get better, please avoid negative forums, am sorry you are experiencing these symptoms, have you seen a Dr or ENT?? get anything medical checked out. JCH had T a very long time and is now better, he is very kind, informative and positive!!! He explains exactly what Tinnitus is and what positive steps to take.
