Hi, I'm considering trying the Flow Neuroscience device as an alternative to anti depressants, mainly because I am concerned that anti depressants may make the tinnitus worse. But I have noticed the Flow device also lists tinnitus as a possible side effect which feels like a kick in the teeth.Has anyone with tinnitus tried the Flow device and noticed it made their tinnitus worse? Or more bearable through reduced negative thinking? Any experiences by tinnitus sufferers welcome.

You can experience a flow state by many other means such as playing a musical instrument or mindful walking or learning to juggle. The key thing about flow is that you engage in an activity which allows you to exercise a measures of skill and challenge which are higher than you would normally experience in everyday life.
I also have tinnitus but I am fairly focused about everything and I tend not to notice it too much. I have co-authored several papers about flow ( and music) which I can direct you to if you wish.
