just a quick note to say that the admin team have stated I’ve broken agreement with my posts and comments and that several of you have complained.
No problem
I’ll keep research for a cure as my posts have suggested and I wish you all the very best of luck with this lottery of life and all the controlling influences therein

@AnotherLevel you don't state whether you have been banned (I assume your account would have been disabled, if that was the case). Whilst I cannot speak on behalf of the admin, and maybe there was no ill intent on your behalf, I think that maybe some of the posts you've shared are contentious claims. There maybe things that help ease the burden of this living hell, but there is no cure that you seek.
Incidentally, I'm not one to have complained. Some of your posts and comments have included contentious so-called cures. For the most part, many of these are possibly harmless, but individuals should seek professional medical advice.
On the other hand, one of your posts did stand out, claiming that Nicotine can help/cure tinnitus. I do not think I need comment on how contentious this claim is.
Anyway, whether you have been asked to leave or if it is your decision do so, then I wish you the very best in your journey. Just be careful about so-called cures.
I'll be sorry to see you go. Have you been brought down by the fine divide which on either side is treatment suggestion and treatment claim?
When T came to me, I was somewhat grateful that if it had to come then it was better it did when I was retired. As well as not having to cope with it while engaged in paid employment I had the time to research the thing. Immediately apparent was the umbrella of the term - about as descriptive of the condition and cause as 'headache' and what must be the three figure causes of that. With that in mind I had to adopt a 'this is how it works for me' line from the outset. With the unproven / theoretical that can be extended to 'this is how I hope it will work for me'.
I can see Admins point of view. There is plenty of false hope and straw clutching out there and they would be failing if they did not intervene where they need to.
But people don't just ignore things when theyr desperate do they. This is a serious forum for people who are reaching out for guidance and comfort. If like me you take to a forum like this to run parallel with hi end medical advice over 22 years for tinnitus, the last thing i want is for it to become twitter. Maybe you can start another forum with the user, you seem keen. Still looks like he/she can post, so until they can't, i won't use the forum.
I understand that. But, as with any forum one visits that have to do with a medical condition, you are ultimately responsible for your own decisions. There is a lot of advice on this forum. Each person decides what they will or won't take.
It doesn't work like that. If it can be read as text, then it has credence. A small amount, but it still has it. With credence comes hope. The hope that it might work for you, and hope tends to win most times.
Alright then. How are these things decided. One person says sound therapy works for me, another says it made me much worse. Do we then ban comments from people advocating sound therapy?
But you have it, the way these things are decided. Personal testimony of a success story, as much as you can associate the words success and tinnitus together. Such testimony on here can then be questioned for the finer details. And if they are not forthcoming or inadequate, be dismissed.
And the unsubstantiated? What would you have done with them. CBD claims for tinnitus for example. My research there has found only hope, hype and lies.
