Cleaning your ears out with a hair grip.

My T permanent, but can repeated use of a hair grip to clean out earwax cause Tinnitus. Temporary or Permanent?

It might well damage your ear - please don't! May audiologist said 'don't put anything into your ear smaller than your elbow'.

I think the phrase goes the only thing you should put in your ear is your elbow 😁. Try it!

pipster the inner ear where wax accumulates in front of the ear drum is an extremely delicate structure. It’s not designed to be touched that’s why it’s protected buried deep inside our head. Quit while your ahead chap and look into wax removal via NHS hospital referral you are entitled to it. 👍

My consultant told me that the only thing I was allowed to stick in either of my ears was my right elbow. I’ve followed that advice ever since.
