Last week I was prescribed Trimethoprim for a mild UTI.Within 24 hours I developed a ringing in my ears with a low droning sounds. My own voice, sounds, and when people speak give me an amplified hearing with low roaring sound which is very unpleasant and worrying. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve taken that antibiotic for urine infections on many occasions and I have never experienced any side affects .
