Hi. Anyone tried a Snoozeband or similar headband speaker please. Any recommendations appreciated
I sleep reasonably well with my T these days but occasionally some background noise helps and my partner is a very light sleeper.
Regards
Rob

Hi Rob,
When my T worsened significantly about 7 years ago, and being worst during the night, I bought SleepPhones. They didn''t work well for me, but I am probably atypical. The reasons were:
(a) Masking only suppresses my T if the sound source is in my ear canal - ie earbuds of some kind. I knew that in advance, because ordinary headphones never do the trick, but I was willing to take the risk in case my experience at night might be different. It wasn't.
(b) I found that getting the speakers into the best position for my ears was a faff, and they never stayed there for long - see further (c).
(c) I bought the model that charges via a USB cable rather than induction. I found connecting the cable to be another faff, and it disturbed the position of the speakers.
I know that others get great benefit from SleepPhones and similar, some of them may add their comments here, but that is how they worked out for me.
Best wishes.
hi there. Been using a sleep headband for about 18 months. Cost about £18 off Amazon. It’s called musicozy. Really helpful. Bluetooth to my phone and listen to podcasts or sleep hypnotherapy. All the best.

Hi Rob
I use sleep headphones every night and they help me massively. I first tried the headbands which work ok but the speakers move about a bit which really affects the volume.
I then tried much more expensive Bose Sleepbuds which were great but eventually broke after 2 years and, unfortunately, Bose have now stopped making them.
I’ve just bought some Soundcore A10 Sleepbuds which are around £90 and they work pretty well. They are slightly bigger than the Bose ones but still comfy enough to sleep on your side. It’s a much better experience than the headbands but, obviously, a fair amount more expensive.
That is interesting and helpful - thanks. The Bose had been discontinued before I knew they existed, or I would certainly have tried them. I will look further into the A10s.
Hi, I’ve had my sleep head band from eBay for about 4 years & it’s still going strong! It cost about £6! If you’re ok lying on your back you’ll be golden! I play Calm sleep stories, relaxation music & bed time wind downs & couldn’t manage without it. If you like lying on your side you may have to adjust your head or else the speaker digs into your ear.
I’ve got them and they’re fine and relaxing. Downloaded the “White Noise” app and play it through Bluetooth
Hello Rob. I have had tinnitus since January 2022. I have used a Bluetooth sleep headband which does seem to help. My son-in-law ordered it for me. It is quite comfortable and hooks up nicely to my phone with some of the tinnitus relief sounds I found on YouTube. I have found some of the sounds that help me are on the Dalesnale channel. The brand name of the headband is Peryt. I believe he ordered it from Amazon. I hope this helps and the best of luck to you.
