I sleep with earbuds every night. I listen to true crime podcasts and set a timer for 30 mins. I usually fall during that time. I wake up 3-4 times through the night and repeat. I’ve no idea what the story is about but it does help me sleep. Music doesn’t work the same for me. I recommend’Casefile’. The narrator has a monotone Australian accent, so very even sound.

Hi Adenufofthis

I do exactly the same as you , every night. It could be my story. 😊 and with melatonine I get through the night, even though I wake up 3-4 times. My Ear adviser says that it is ok. I have tinnitus 24/7 .

I got tinnitus 7 years ago after an Inner Ear middle infection.

Hi Mille23

I am relatively new to Tinnitus. Mine came on following some crushing headaches in March. I thought I had a brain tumour. I paid for an MRI scan of my head and neck. The problem is in my neck. Severe effects from osteoarthritis. Apart from a stiff neck, I had no warning. I understand that neck injury can cause T. I hate it with a vengeance and am having difficulty accepting that I’ll have it for yhe rest of my life

Maybe you can get help from a osteocranio therapeut. I recommend you to listen to Julian Cowan Hill on you tube. He had succes with that kind of therapy.

Thats the trouble with T , you hate it so much , it stays !!. Only when you accept it and given time sometimes a few years , can you habituate. Thats what happened to me the first time, I ended up not hearing it at all . So maybe because I've done this all before, I'm not as depressed as I was the first time.

I'm okay , T can get noisy at times , then I know how much I hate it and long to go back to my quiet life 🙂. I hate my doctor . Actually I don't notice it much during the day . Radio glued to ear and I dont always notice what they are talking about. I sleep fine and the other day I thought wow the T is very quiet. Didnt last☹️

How are you doing? How long have you had it ?

I use Bose Sleepbuds and think they are great. They are so small and comfy, you can’t feel them, even when sleeping on your side.

You can only listen a pre-set list of sounds but they work very well for me.

They are quite expensive but are a lifesaver for me.
