Hi, I have suffered from pulsatile tinnitus for over 3 years (a constant thud thud heartbeat sound in my left ear). I currently have a real stuffy nose (allergy, cold, who knows why) and the pulsatile tinnitus has stopped completely. It's a relief but an explanation would be welcome?

That is very interesting indeed, it just goes to show how anything at all can happen with T , let’s hope for you that this T does not make a return. Let us know when your nose gets better.
Hi there. I've got a heavy cold - coughing & sneezing . My T has gone bananas. I 'd say enjoy the peace and quiet while it while it lasts. T is so unpredictable.
My conventional tinnitus tends to decrease when I have a cold. This is something that other people have also noted but doesn't seem to apply to everyone. I'm not sure why that would happen though.
Yes. When seasonal change occurs , it is very possible that your inner ear is irradiated from the pressure change. Looking down at phone or computer screens will irradiate this effect even more
