An admittedly Kardashianesque question but drying my hair is a right pain without a hair dryer and they are so flipping loud! Currently using ear protection to dry my hair with a dryer which is an annoying. Can anyone here recommend a quiet hair dryer? - please don’t say a towel…..

Quiet hair dryer?
Hi Bournville, your post raised a sympathetic smile from me. I wear ear protection when I use a vacuum cleaner. It's largely why I never answer the phone or door when I'm vacuuming!Ironic that many of us with T also have hyperacusis which makes simple tasks such as hair-drying and hoovering a bit of a trial.I found this product on Amazon, but I don't use an electric hairdryer myself so it's just a suggestion that might point you in the right direction.
It's time someone invented a quiet hairdryer 🙂
I have actually got what is claimed to be one of the quietest hairdryers on the market at the moment and it is still relatively loud. I think you are going to struggle to get a really quiet one
I'm the same as bridgeit and just wear ear protection.
Hi bournville, you are not the 1st to ask this question on the forum 😉 (it may be worth having a look at previous recommendations). Its definitely not a 'Kardashianesque', all you are doing is wanting to live well with your T, which is a really healthy thing to do 👍

Since I was 12, I have always wet one square of toilet paper and balled it up for each ear for blow drying. I’m 57 and it still works!
