The latest global information should be on the British Tinnitus Association website.

The current number of reports of tinnitus reactions attributed to the Pfizer vaccine is 2468, for the period commencing 09/12/2020 and ending on 06/04/2022. The current total of vaccinations administered in the UK is 142, 014, 650 - I haven't been able to trace any more granular data which breaks that figure down into individual totals for Pfizer, Astra-Zeneca, Moderna, etc.

Regular updates on adverse effects attributed to vaccinations can be found here - gov.uk/government/publicati....

This is something I’m also worried about I’m supposed to be going to Australia in November & really don’t want any more jabs as that’s what started my Tinnitus in the first place as far as I am concerned .

This is the dilemma I have. Have thought about getting the booster as it would make travelling so much easier, but then know that I would struggle if my t got worse. I also think that for the likes of you and me our bodies have already reacted negatively to the vaccines hence the bloody t, so maybe further vaccines are not for us, and the whole rigmarole of testing everytime we want to go anywhere is. Hope your keeping well x

I know I really don’t know what I’m going to yet it’s a tough one. I’m coping as well as I can with this noise .

Hope you OK too,

I have only just developed Tinnitus……. I have needed a hearing aid in one ear for about 5 years…..but ever since I had nasty reactions to 2 AZ Primary Covid19 vaccinations (had Pfizer as third Primary - not had booster yet due to having leave gap after Rtx infusion) I have all sorts of weird noises …mostly in the ear with the hearing loss.I had no idea what sort of noise T would produce….but mine is mainly a knocking/tapping noise….enough to make me go to a door because I think someone is there knocking. The other sound I get is rushing water……I had my ears syringed - no difference.

As I have had all sorts of hearing & visual problems since the first two vaccinations….I am putting the T down to them….as I had no adverse reaction at all to the Pfizer. I am hoping in time it will go away or at least lessen.

You abs me both. I was going to risk it and get a booster, but have changed my mind. I would struggle if my t got any louder

Unfortunately I am elderly & was classed as CEV due to the drugs I take…..my consultant strongly advises I do have the booster..but I am still sitting on the fence. It’s an unknown quantity…one day I think I’ll have the next I won’t.

I "thought" my first injection made it worse but not immediately, now I'm not so sure it did. I have had two boosters since with no change in T. I had covid a few weeks ago it was very mild with no after affects (well maybe a slight occasional cough for no reason, but even that is diminishing) so i think the vaccines did their job for me.

Sorry to butt in……but I can’t start a new post because my iPad is playing up ….In order to write anything, I have to write it in my email then cut-and-paste it onto this site .I just watched Tim Spector’s 28th April Zoë research weekly Covid report…….very interestingly he mentioned Tinnitus ….he was talking about people who had actually had Covid ….& report Tinnitus afterwards….but maybe some of us who have recently developed Tinnitus are right, and Covid vaccinations have had something to do with developing it?

He writes his report, every Thursday

There was also a mention of the being related to pfizer vaccine on bbc news live a couple of weeks ago. Was mainly talking about how to cope with t. Interesting though that now beginning to admit that the vaccines have played a part in new t cases

I’m sure the vaccine has affected my hearing, caused Tinnitus & affected my eyes ….but will probably never get confirmation.I can just hope they all ease off.I had two AZ jabs ..the third was Pfizer.

Me too, i am pretty sure the vaccind fave me T, a vestibule disorder that caused constant motion sickness, ear discomfort and i think my eye sight has also been affected. I have never felt 100% right since my first vaccine in March 2021. I had the second vaccine in June 2021 and thing got a lot worse. I've not had a booster. This year, things were getting better. The T quietened a lot (I an guessing habituation), the motion sickness went and I just started to generally feel better. Then in the beginning of April I caught Covid. I was very sick with flu like symptons. Initially nothing about my wars was worse, then after 3 days my T hot worse, the discomfort in my ears returned and my eye sight seemed to be worse. Fortunately the motion sickness did not return. And this is where I am now, a month after catching covid. I have no doubt that it will sort itself out with time but I also have no doubt that the vaccines caused all my issues. I will not be having any boosters unless it us proven this happens only with Pfizer!

I’m sorry you caught after experiencing bad effects from the vaccines as well.I am sitting on the fence about a 4thJab…….I desperately want to travel abroad to see family……I feel quite good atm &I really don’t want to experience any more side effects..but of course nobody can predict what will happen.

I had the 4th last week, so 2 Pfizer’s. Tinnitus got no worse. The risk seemed so low and I had no hesitation - long COVID seems worse than a bit louder tinnitus.
