Tinnitus (music hallucinations/earworms)

Anyone suffering from the above. Constant music interference - like a broken gramophone playing the same bit of music melody or lyrics or nonsense ?

I hear humming alongside other rubbish !!!!!

High-pitched hissing and low-tone humming. I've experienced the occasion phantom music.

I have Musical Tinnitus - started about 15 months ago after a bout of Labyrinthitis . Repetitive undefined music 24/7. Google musical ear syndrome and that describes me to a ‘T’. I became profoundly deaf in my right ear after the Labyrinthitis and apparently my brain couldn’t understand why there were no sounds going in so decided as I was a music lover - it would provide the sounds for me!! I thought I was going mad. I’m still trying to come to terms with it. Have a hearing test as some people benefit from hearing aids if hearing loss is a problem. I wouldn’t mind if I could change the music to something I liked but I can’t. I have also lost the ability to hear higher tones and most music sounds dull and flat. Good luck with it.

I have musical Tinnitus, started 1 year ago, Silent Night playing on repeat.I now have dozens of familiar songs, appt with ENT in May, had tinnitus for over 25 years but finding the music hard to deal with

I have the same. Drives me blooming mad! I told myself it was my brain trying to drown out the hissing of the T, but it’s good to know what it is and that I’m not the only one.
