Dizziness
Hi yes I take 16 mg 3 times a day. It took a while to work and I had bad headaches initially which settledHope this helps?
I hope the headaches recede!
I started taking betahistime about 30 days ago. I took two pills a day the first two days and felt very…not sure how to explain it but my head felt very zombie like. The third day I took only one pill per day and have continued that regime until now. I also take 15mg of hydrocortisone daily, one ativan in morning and one before bed daily and a water pill every other day. My dr said I could take up to 4 betahistime pills per day but I’m starting with just one for now and see how I do.
Hi, I have been taking 8mg twice a day on and off for months now and it definitely made me feel spaced out, everything was surreal, it was prescribed for dizziness but when I spoke to an ENT doctor he said I shouldn’t take them any longer than 3 months! It didn’t do anything for my dizziness so I came off them. I am now having treatment with a chiropractor and it’s working wonder, no medication also helping with my headaches.Maybe ask if you could start with lower dose and work your way up?
Hope you are better soon.
Hi I'm on Betahistine. It did work for a while but the migraines I was getting made it impossible for me to continue. I'm taking one a day but it's not helping the tinnitus at all. Last night I was particularly bad. The BTA doesn't recommend it for tinnitus; it's more to treat vertigo.
I have been taking Betahistamine 3 a day for a few months now and getting some headaches now
I’ve been in betahistine for 10 days, 3 a day and really struggling. I’m thinking I should keep going for a while but the headaches are bad and the dizziness isn’t any better. I get the zombie like feel - I can’t think of a better way to describe it but will try anything if I think it might help.
