Hey guys. Haven't posted here in a while. So I got a cold yesterday which came with really bad congestion and as a result my ears feel full and it takes a lot of pressure to pop them. Is this normal and does tinnitus go back to normal once the cold has passed?

Try inhaling some steam over a bowl . Boil your kettle then carefully put it into a Pyrex dish , a cloth over your head and let the vapours soothe the congestion away . You can add a tad of vick or olbas oil to the water steam bowl . This will unblock you .
Hi ShrewdMusjroom yes getting a cold does make tinnitus worse but usually settles down once the cold has passed. I do what rabbits65 has mentioned above along with hot showers and breathe in the steam. I also drink hot water and lemon. Hope your feeling better soon x
