T sound therapy during sleep ?

Has anyone heard of or know anything about a new device that you wear in your ears during sleep ? I just saw something about this on a link I was taken to from a Nuhera add. It said something about finding a sound that matches your T , then this is played through the in ear device during sleep which it says “trains your brain to ignore sounds it doesn’t want to hear “ and this sound therapy is said to be more effective while you sleep etc . Or is this something you can try with Nuhera max earbuds ? . I’ve got Phonak perscription hearing aids that cost me 2.5k but they come before sleep is attempted . Matt x

Hello threeminuteboy. Have you looked on the British tinnitus Association website about this? The website gives all the various “treatments” that they know of, together with their take on whether it’s worth it. Or you could give them a ring.

Hi Matt. Please be careful. There's lots of unscrupulous people out there and we're very easy prey. As Rosie says - Always check with the BTA 🙂

Hi Matt

Nuheara are a corporate member of the BTA for 2021/22 - so they have to meet ethical criteria and demonstrate that they are trying to support the tinnitus community via innovation.

Their website covers how the IQBuds can be used as part of a tinnitus therapy process - I don't believe that they're intended to replace hearing aids prescribed for somebody with a moderate to severe hearing loss:

Nuheara do set some expectations on their site about what their product is intended to do and also are clear that it isn't a medical device.

Not what you're looking for?
