I have had blocked ears a few times over the years and have had no trouble before. Any body got any answers.

Good evening again John ,Yes I have to be careful with olive oil. I think your find it will dry up again soon . If not go and get checked out.

Hi penny i have just had my ears looked at and iv got to put 2 drops of olive oil twice a day for 10 days in my left ear a bit worried about the wushing coming back because it has nearly gone but the doctor could not see the ear drum so looks like i have no choice

Hi John ,Hope your well, I think perhaps in your circumstances I wouldn’t use the olive oil again, ask in the pharmacy if there is an alternative solution .

Hi, it sounds like you have a build up of wax and it could be that combined with putting the oil in that is causing the whooshing sound. I hope that your GP is making arrangements for you to have the wax removed. Once that is done the noise disturbance should go and your tinnitus may ease too. Best wishes.

Hi John. When I have used olive oil in the past, prior to a micro-suction of earwax, my T has sounded a lot worse. I no longer use olive oil. Two days prior to micro-suction I use Earoil. Much better.
