Flu vaccine

Hi, I have the flu vaccine ever year but since last October I have horrendous tinnitus. Does anyone know if a flu jab will make my tinnitus worse.

Well CalleLaurel I’m sorry your T is happening. I’ve had my T for many years and flu jabs, which I’ve had for ten years or so, have made absolutely no difference.

Thank you for that, I’ll have mine as usual then. I have managed to speak to doc today who wasn’t aware that it should make any difference to the tinnitus. Hope you are well.

Hi I also have tinitus in my left ear only .have had MRI to rule out any nasties going on all came back clear ..have you had any checks done or seen ENT ?

I had mine yesterday. Along with a pneumonia vaccine. It didn't effect my T.

I was going to have one but noticed that it has neomycin. This is ototoxic and one of the side effects is that it can cause Tinnitus.
