Yes I have this if I am v stressed. It’s like a reaction from the limbic system in the brain to do with flight/fight/freeze.

What are your stress levels like at the moment?

And your sleep?

Yea, could be that just started a new job , maybe subconsciously I could have been worrying about it ,as if covid19 wasn't bad enough. Will wait and see what happens.Hopefully it will die down. Thanks stay safe.

Hi sad to hear this.

I am the same - all around my head since day one. Began Feb this year - super stressful year with bereavement, business worries and a big health scare that went ok thankfully. I described mine as a ballon floating around my head full of noise 24/7. Its bad. My specialist supposeses that a form of PTSD was the trigger, so mindfulness and thought training seem to work in terms of breaking the anxiety stress higher tinnitus loop. I too am hopeful it will go as quickly as it came, we live in hope

Best wishes

Yes so much of a link to ptsd. I wish that the official organisation and ENT consultants would stop saying it’s to do with hearing loss.

Trauma tinnitus has nothing to do with the hearing apparatus and everything to do with the nervous system. Thanks for posting
