Hi, wonder if anyone has any experience or tips on this issue I have. Earlier this week noticed my hearing was somewhat 'sensitive' and everything high pitched. As the week has progressed im now where my T is loud (high pitch) but every other noise around me causes a spike and echo effect (high pitched) in my ears - even rustling of newspaper. I've been very active this week physically, working on house on top of everything else. In myself I feel generally okay, so not sure what has caused this. I have been doing garden renovations as well. My T spikes up and down ordinarily but not sure I've had this this bad before. Thanks for any reviews/comments in advance

Ultra sensitive hearing, every noise causes ringing
I think you are saying this is hyperacusis. I rarely suffer from this myself, it just comes and goes and I think the last time was twenty years ago.
You’ll get information about this on the website of Tinnitus UK, the specialist charity, and I hope it helps you.
Did you use an electric saw to cut wood while renovating your garden? And did you use hearing protection? If not, this could be the cause of your T.
High pitch noises or a roaring sound kind of makes mine where I can hear it but most of time it started in my ear but now I when I hear it I put my finger in my ear and it's in my head, in my twenties I lost can't remember 30% 60% my hair and somewhere around in there well in my thirties it came back and I think it came back 20 in one of your 10 in the other because my left ear got sensitive I couldn't sit next to a ice machine at a restaurant this is before I got tea and I got depressed and real stressed out and I got up off the couch and it felt like I was falling I knew what it was I knew it was nerves and stress my boyfriend kept on you need to go to another doctor you need to take another hearing test and now I don't listen to nothing he says because I listened and they messed with my ear so much it cost it to ring so loud that I didn't sleep for a week and then finally the right one quit ringing and left one calm down and now I noticed it might have a low bus to it I can't hear it but most time but if I get really upset or if I stress out over something like going to take a MRI or something I stress myself out so bad it starts ringing pretty loud so I noticed that mine is mostly stressinged, but it has changed me this was like October of 19, Master yours went by it seemed like it got better and then I think I got stressed out again but yes I can't stand certain noises I can't use a window unit I can't stand to go to a church where the music is really loud or somebody's clapping their hands so where they make some pop, sometimes it's the noise that does my ear but sometimes it's the noise that tenses my forehead up and then that makes it ring I take children's Mucinex or a piece of Xanax when I can't sleep, I watch abide sleep app at night it's where they read they tell you to get real comfortable and it's a low voice of a man and they just talk for a minute and then they read the Bible and you fall right off to sleep and then other nights I'll turn on this one where it has a sound of a fireplace and a wind blowing through the cracks and I'm right off to sleep and when I first got this I could not stand any kind of noise at night when I was trying to sleep even my neighbors got on my nerves but I have trained myself to deal with things better and I hope you get better, sorry this was so long
You have hyperacusis and reactive tinnitus.
Thanks all for your replies. This seems to have calmed down again and I'm back to normal T (normal for me!)
