High pitch sound

I have tinnitus for couple years think it got brought on more when I had a virus that blocked my tubes up could no hear out of my ears was driving nuts trying clears my ears to listen again at one time when it's quiet I could here the train at the stop light with its engine running around 2am when it's quiet now all I here is my heart beating in my head and a high pitch ringing and ears popping when swallowing sometimes

I find if you can distract your brain by listening to the radio or TV helps as it stops you concentrating on the tinnitus. Good luck

One issue to look into if you experience your ears popping when you swallow might be the function of your Eustachian Tube - healthline.com/health/crack.... An Ear Nose & Throat specialist may be able to give you an opinion on whether this is a problem you're experiencing.

If you are noticing what seems to be your heart beat within your head, some people with Pulsatile Tinnitus report similar symptoms - tinnitus.org.uk/pulsatile-t... - so that may be a discussion to have with a GP or ENT consultant.

it may go after a time, but to allay anxiety for the time beng I suggest you get a small bedside sound generator, they have a variety of calming sounds, waves, gentle rain, etc. I got mine through Puretone which you can google.
