Hi Joeb17

I am new to having T, only 7 months but feels like a life time!!

Yes I too have noticed this, I do Pilates twice a week to keep a back problem under control, and although I love doing it, my T and associated symptoms are on a high after, hadn't really associated it till I read your post. Has it something to do with increased heart rate?

I have had T in both ears now 5+years and does seem the more work I do it’s worse even when watching an action movie it would be interesting to see what other people say.

I have just had my first swim of the year and noticed the same. Not sure why both swimming & Pilates make the tinnitus louder and balance issues more noticeable. I was blaming fatigue.

Assuming you’re not listening to loud music while you’re doing it? Gyms can be noisy. I have noticed it with some activities and think it could be related to blood pressure. I think things that increase my blood pressure make my tinnitus sound worse. I Googled it to see if I could find anything to confirm that and found this article which does say that things that increase blood pressure can make it sound worse mayoclinic.org/diseases-con...

My T increases in volume after and during exercise. I believe its down to increased blood flow/blood pressure.

I noticed tinnitus louder after a run and then quietened down after a shower but after a few weeks didn’t notice it anymore.
