Anyone tried Turmeric?

Hi, first time post, call me Moo if you like. I’m peri menopausal and suffering severe effects of low Oestrogen (anxiety, depression, insomnia) thankfully my HRT is now starting to help raise my levels and I should be feeling better.... except that now I’ve had constant T for 4 weeks! Googled like mad for a cause, as you do, and was first concerned it was the antidepressant (Escitalopram) and sleeping pill (Zolpidem) my GP prescribed 2 days before it started. I immediately quit the AP. Today I had an MRI but have to wait until Jan for an ENT appointment. My depression and loneliness is acute even though I have a supportive husband and 2 young children I am slipping away from them with the distress of the T. I’ve become obsessed with finding answers and researching drugs to help but none seem to be deemed effective or without hideous side effects. I’ve just ordered Turmeric capsules. Has anyone had any similar experiences?

A very candid and dare I say honest and astute posting.

When my Tinnitus started some time ago I had the advantage of knowing about it because my Mother had had it for some years.

I therefore was immediately aware that the condition (if indeed it is Tinnitus) is usually difficult to mitigate with treatments.

So I just shrugged my shoulders and realised that I had to cope.

There are times when it does intrude and affect my moods and relationships.

After a few years of it I realised that it helped me to become involved with a Tinnitus Support Group, in order to share the experiences which can be quite helpful.

Try it. It may help you, and your experiences may help others.
