Hi Sean. Great video. I think everyone can probably relate to your own experience with tinnitus. When you spoke about your tinnitus course in the UK and how you disagreed with the speaker who said try 2 things and then stop, I think I get what he was saying. Everyone new to tinnitus is going to spend a lot of time googling and coming up with possible medications and therapies which are supposed to cure your T. You try one and it doesn't work so then you try something else and that doesn't work either and on it goes - constantly searching for the magic bullet. I think the speaker was saying just try 2 things. Because you're going to anyway regardless of what anyone tells you. If you just keep on searching you are going to be constantly disappointed. I think the most important thing in anyone's journey with tinnitus is ACCEPTANCE. Once you've accepted your T you can stop looking for cures and then you won't be disappointed when they don't work. Instead you need to focus on the things that give you pleasure in life. You mustn't give your T the time of day. Let it hiss away all it wants but just ignore it and get on with your life. I think that once you've accepted your T only then will you start to see the light at the end of tunnel and believe that everything will be ok.

Thank you Sean. I can relate to absolutely everything you said. Every thing. And about peoples acceptance etc could have helped at the start. I feel the exact same. If they knew the fight we have daily maybe they could have been more gentle with their options. I listen to white noise 24/7 and even get criticised on that. I have it playing into my ears through MP3 through the day and on a white noise device to go to sleep with and it plays all through the night and when I wake up. Iv worked so hard to get to where I am today as you’ve said Sean you need to work at it and when family knock your hard work it’s deflating. No wonder I can’t be bothered with them. They do my head in. And even when they walk on flooring with their click click shoes. I have to walk away because I could loss it and I’m a really calm person but when it comes to tinnitus I’m not the same person. Anger and frustration builds really quickly. It just happens no control. Thank you Sean.
