I haven't a clue, never even heard of glue ear, but Googled and found this from the NHS...

Hello there and welcome to the British Tinnitus Association forum.

Glue ear can muffle the hearing, and the muffling can lead to tinnitus. The good news is that once the glue ear is managed, and any blockage removed/drained, the tinnitus will usually resolve.
