I would take that as a sign and never ever go there. It’s packed to the rafters with panic and suffering on one side and sanctimonious tinnitus ‘heroes’ trying to bolstering their fragile egos on the other. Either way it’s not good.

Yay Knoll80, just wondering out of interest how you would define this forum?

If I may use a supermarket analogy. This is like Waitrose on a Thursday morning and over there it’s like Saturday afternoon in Aldi.

I was just thinking of you Steve. Your ears must have been ringing.

lol...Well said Knoll and you have me laughing! I am an avid user of Tinnitus Talk and I suppose some would put me in the category of, to use your excellent description: sanctimonious tinnitus ‘heroes’ trying to bolstering their fragile egos on the other. This isn't my intention but some might say this.

There are those that like my help and advice and that's really the reason I visit there.

Take care and all the best

Michael

Hi Michael, it's Steph from TT. Looks like I found you on here. :) For some reason TT won't work for me. I can't load any pages. I don't know whether my account has been blocked?

Anyway, thank you for indirectly telling me there's other forums like this one out there. TT is very negative and I truly believe it was making me worse.

Since developing T I've turned into a grumpy person and I've always been so happy.

So good to see you on here.

I like to use this forum, it's calm intelligent and well moderated. I used tinnitustalk initially as I didn't know there was anything else. I know even the best mannered of us can use the occasional swear word, but I did find a lot of the posts were incredibly offensive in many ways.

It can make a person despair for the future 😂

I stay on here now where it feels well regulated, grown up and sensible.

Thankyou BTA.
