My Tinnitus

Hi, im an Newbie to HealthUnlcked And I Have tinnitus, Yup this Sound in my head that make me go crazy, I think I got tinnitus by my Stupidness-Putting Water on my ear and Waiting 3-5 minutes with water in my ear, I had this for 2.3 Years Or 1.7 Years Or 1.3 Years, I used Ear Drop Last Night and this morning it worsenend,IMPORTNANT : Whenever I turn my head to my left, I Hear tinnitus, Ringing like the MF he is.Now whenever I turn my head a LITTLE to my left, I Hear it, I hear the tinnitus in my right ear, Any natural Way to Stop tinnitus, like Can I use Cotton buds to Weaken it Or Can it be caused by earwax ? I used Earwax before before putting Water drop in my ear (The water drop I thought it would weaken Tinnitus) and when I pulled the cotton bud out, there was a black red Earwax(I suppose) standing there So, did I Made a hole in my eardrum or was it a Dead insect's body or Was it just Earwax ?, I Will not even hesitate to Destroy my Right ear's hearing completely so I can Stop hearing Tinnitus. I Feel Depressed Just Because of this Sound, ringing all Day in my ear.I Honestly think about suicide, I can't Live With a Ringing in my ear for a whole damn Eternity.

Please see a GP to rule out infection or fluid behind the drum.

The tinnitus does ease over time, you only need to read some of the positive posts to see this. Don't Google miracle cures or waste money on them.

I think we turn to this forum when it's really bad. When it calms down we tend to spend less time on here. Mine's been horrendous for a while, but I'm keeping positive. It' been like this before and settled so I see no reason why it shouldn't again.

Take care xx

hi i have had tinnitus for 2 months now and the first 4-6 weeks were terrible i was very depressed and could hear nothing but the sound in my ear (left only) i saw an ENT specialist who told me that things would get better and anxiety makes it worse. I have noticed if im stressed it starts screaming. I got tablets that are anti depressants and sleeping pill from doctor and now they have finished i feel a lot better about things......... I too felt i couldnt go on with this constant noise in my head but not anymore

For the last 2 weeks i have noticed that i dont hear my tinnitus as much (now im writing about it its back) i sometimes go a whole day where i havent heard it. I think your brain gets used to it and if you keep busy it just goes into the background.

Give it time im sure it will improve

God don't use cotton buds that's how I got my tinnitus and I've only poked my ear drum not even pierced it!

Please get some counseling cause it can drive you crazy. Some antidepressants can help. The key is to relax and try to drown it out with sounds. I pray for all of us who suffer with this.
