Why do I always have pressure in the back on the front of my head. Could this be from the tinnitus

Hi, My head constantly feels full of pressure. I describe my T as being exactly like a pressure cooker. A constant terrible hiss with the occasional build up of pressure. I also physically feel the T undulating through my head from side to side at times.

I find it strange that some people think this is not a physical condition.

I agree with you I feel the pressure everyday

Hi, I too have pressure in the back of my head, It seems worse when I have a cold. My GP prescribed Amitripyline for it which helps somewhat but it always seems to be there . I feel it is connected to the tinnitus. I wonder how many others have this?

Hi there, I had this feel for first few months after tinnitus started also a lot of headaches I wasn't sure if that was lack of sleep and too much time in front of pc and tv screen but it went away. Now I only have a feel of pressure in my left ear which can be anoying.

From what i read on internet it is very common to have this pressure in ear along with tinnitus, there is a muscle in the ear called Tensor Tympani Its role is to dampen loud sounds, such as those produced from chewing, shouting, or thunder. I can only guess that becouse of tinnitus it keeps being pulled (thats my thought). From my 5 months experiance I know it gets better to the point I almose couldnt feel it or I used to it and it didnt bothered me at all. Sadly yesterday it gone quite bad I think It might be passing car with horn made it worst.

HI, I have T for a while and managed it but have always had sinus problems and recently had a couple of ear infections. So recently recently feel pressure in my ear and head moat days have been able to cope but last night was awful. Not sure if the infection has come back or just the T, just taken some paracetomal and seems to have calmed down. The pressure was bad last night when I lay down.

I have the same problem every day. I usually take a bag of ice and put it on my head and try to calm down.
