Is this an added noise ?

Hi all I've had what I would call mild tinnitus since August differs in noises has been cricket noises piercing tone, pulsating etc it wasn't bothering me too much as like I say it's mild but just over 2 weeks ago I noticed a dull noise in my house like a hoover next door being used or a vibrating sort of whine

My husband said he could hear it as well which made me feel so much better as I thought it was my ears, to begin with it was just at night now Day and night it varies from room to room how loud it is,we've checked electricity etc looking for reasons it could be,

My husband says sometimes he can't hear it where I still can also our son can't hear it so I'm up and down wether it's my ears or not, I can hear the tinnitus noises in my ears and this is definitely not like it's coming from there, but yesterday was at my mums and could hear it again! I'm literally driving myself mad with what it can be and praying it isn't my ears as could I have this awful sound forever, i wentto my sisters last week and sat in the bathroom in silence and no noise there so was relived but now I'm messing with my own head :(

Can anyone please help? Thank you
